AHMEDABAD: Dhrasti Vashistha from Vastrapur set an example for girls from the city when, earlier this month, she finally joined the Indian Air Force giving wings to her childhood dreams.
Vashistha, along with Kevhana Shah from Vadodara are the only two young women from Gujarat to have joined the Air Force this year.
Her father Sunil Sharma heads the human resources department in a private firm while her mother Bhavna is a home-maker.
